About

Facts

My family is everything.
I love animals. –> proof here CharityPaws
I love chocolate. (Hint! Hint!)
I love Italian food + donuts. (OK, I really love all food!)
I don’t like bugs. (They scare me!)
I don’t like mean people. (They scare me too!)
I don’t like getting older. (This scares me too!)

I previously owned a portrait studio (Expressions Photo Design in Keyport, NJ), but closed the studio and pursued other interests for a while (can you say internet geek?). But during the time I was not doing photography, I missed it. So I have decided to start doing it again – only this time, I am committing myself to being true to my style and focusing on pet and commercial photography!

What is my “true style” you may wonder?
It can be called editorial, natural, photo-journalistic – but in short it is about capturing moments, not necessarily faces – it is about telling a STORY!

It is about the little whiskers on a face, the fold of a puppies ear, the big messy paws in the sand. It is all in the details of the moment that make my pet and people and pet portraits a bit more special.

This is what I love!
I love images that portray a connection or emotion and are completely un-posed and just portray REAL LIFE and REAL PEOPLE. If your pet is on their own in the session, I will do my best to get their real personalities to shine through – if the session is you and your pet, I will do everything I can to capture your relationship and unique bond!

The hugs, the snuggles and the playtime all caught on film for you to treasure.

If you are looking for more posed, formal imagery – then I am not the right pet photographer for you. It is not that I would not want to work with you, I just want you to be thrilled with your images – and there are lots of photographers who do very traditional pet portrait sessions, I am just not that kind of girl!

Sound like a fit? Then give me a call at 732.241.5365 so we can discuss your session!
